QtEasyTier Privacy Policy
- Version: v1.1
- Last Updated: February 19, 2026
- Effective Date: February 19, 2026
Introduction
Section titled “Introduction”QtEasyTier is a simple, secure, decentralized intranet penetration and virtual networking tool based on EasyTier. We highly value user privacy protection. This privacy policy explains how we handle relevant information during the installation and use of the QtEasyTier software.
This policy applies only to software officially released by QtEasyTier and does not apply to any third-party services, software, or websites.
1. Definitions
Section titled “1. Definitions”- “We” or “Developer”: Refers to the development team of the QtEasyTier software.
- “This Software” or “QtEasyTier”: Refers to the QtEasyTier desktop application and related components.
- “User” or “You”: Refers to any individual or organization that downloads, installs, or uses this software.
- “Third-Party Services”: Refers to servers, relay nodes, or other network services not operated by us.
2. Data Transmission, Retention, and Storage
Section titled “2. Data Transmission, Retention, and Storage”2.1 Local Configuration Storage
Section titled “2.1 Local Configuration Storage”This software stores network configuration files (including virtual IP addresses, pre-shared symmetric keys, node public/private keys, and peer addresses) on your local device. This software does not provide any form of cloud backup or sync service. These sensitive configuration files will never be automatically synced or uploaded to any central server. You are responsible for the secure management and backup of local configuration files.
2.2 Log and Analytics Data
Section titled “2.2 Log and Analytics Data”This software does not have the capability to collect or transmit user operation logs, behavioral habits, or traffic analysis data. Running log files saved locally are solely for your own debugging and troubleshooting purposes and will not be actively uploaded to any server. You may delete local log files at any time.
2.3 EasyTier Backend Notes
Section titled “2.3 EasyTier Backend Notes”This software uses EasyTier as the backend core for virtual networking. EasyTier is a decentralized virtual networking tool that does not collect or store any user personal data. By default, it uses industry-standard symmetric encryption algorithms (such as AES-GCM or ChaCha20-Poly1305) to encrypt all transmitted traffic, ensuring user data privacy and security during transmission.
In complex network environments where direct P2P connections cannot be established, encrypted traffic may be forwarded through relay nodes. Relay nodes are only responsible for transparent forwarding and routing of data packets; they do not possess the ability to decrypt and cannot obtain or analyze the encrypted original data content. For details, see the EasyTier Privacy Policy.
2.4 Third-Party Server Data
Section titled “2.4 Third-Party Server Data”This software allows you to specify and connect to virtual networking servers or relay nodes set up by yourself or operated by third parties. For such third-party servers, we cannot control their data storage policies and assume no responsibility for their data processing behavior.
3. Server Notes
Section titled “3. Server Notes”3.1 Public Servers
Section titled “3.1 Public Servers”To assist with NAT detection and hole punching, this software provides QtEasyTier (EasyTier) public servers hosted by third-party service providers for user selection. When this software initiates interaction requests with these servers, your public IP address, port information, and basic network metadata may be recorded by the relevant servers. The processing of such data is subject to the privacy policies of each service provider; we recommend reviewing the relevant parties’ policy statements.
3.2 Third-Party Servers
Section titled “3.2 Third-Party Servers”This software allows you to connect to any arbitrary third-party virtual networking server or relay node. You must be aware that connecting to such servers means your connection metadata (such as IP address, network information, etc.) will be visible to the server operator. The Developer does not guarantee the security, data processing behavior, or service stability of any third-party servers, nor assumes any direct or indirect legal liability arising therefrom.
4. User Rights
Section titled “4. User Rights”Since this software does not collect, store, or process your personal data, therefore:
- No need to provide data access, correction, or deletion requests.
- No need to provide data export or transfer services.
- No need to provide account cancellation functionality.
You may manage your data at any time through the following methods:
- Delete local configuration files.
- Delete local log files.
- Uninstall this software.
5. Children’s Privacy Protection
Section titled “5. Children’s Privacy Protection”QtEasyTier is a networking utility software not designed to appeal to or target children. Since this software does not maintain an account system and does not collect personally identifiable information, we do not knowingly collect, process, or store any personal data of children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age specified by local law).
6. Disclaimer
Section titled “6. Disclaimer”6.1 This software is provided “as is” without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
6.2 We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from the use of or inability to use this software, including but not limited to data loss, loss of profits, or business interruption.
6.3 We make no guarantees regarding the security, reliability, or privacy protection measures of third-party servers.
6.4 You shall assume the risks of using this software on your own and comply with local laws and regulations.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution”The interpretation, validity, and dispute resolution of this privacy policy shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding conflict of laws rules). Any disputes arising from this policy or the use of this software shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation between the parties; if negotiation fails, either party may bring a lawsuit in the competent people’s court in the Developer’s location.
8. Policy Revisions
